Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail orientedAudio Visual professional to join our Engineering team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio visual equipment to support meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events.

Set up, operate, and dismantle audio visual equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, and special events

Ensure proper functioning of sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED screens, lighting systems, and video conferencing equipment

Provide on site technical support during events and troubleshoot issues promptly

Coordinate with Banquet, Sales, and Event teams to understand event requirements

Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and testing of AV equipment

Maintain inventory of AV equipment and spare parts

Ensure proper storage and handling of all AV devices

Assist in installing and upgrading new audio visual systems when required

Follow safety procedures and hotel engineering standards

Prepare technical reports and documentation as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Audio Visual or related Engineering field (hotel experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of sound systems, lighting systems, projectors, and video conferencing technology

Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting

Ability to read technical diagrams and equipment manuals

Good communication skills in English

Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and during live events

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Team player with a proactive and service oriented mindset

Physically fit to handle equipment setup and movement
