Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is highly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of proven B2B sales, marketing, or business development experience, specifically within the shipping/maritime or mining industries.
Industry Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of the shipping industry's operations and market dynamics.
Networking:
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders in the mining commodities sectors.
Skills:
Possess strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning abilities.
Work Ethic:
Capable of working effectively under pressure and consistently meeting challenging targets.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive market share expansion and maximize company revenue.
Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, creating robust plans for successful market penetration.
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key business clients.
Optimize fleet revenue realization and operational performance.
Actively participate in Shipment Coordination Meetings to ensure alignment between commercial and operational objectives.
Efficiently manage and resolve customer complaints to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
