Mortgage Loan Processor Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Mortgage Loan Processing Assistant

to support residential loan operations. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in the mortgage industry who understands loan guidelines and is eager to grow within a structured lending environment.

Salary: Between USD 900 - USD 1,200

This is a hands-on role requiring familiarity with FHA, Conventional, and VA loan guidelines, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage documentation accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Review and organize residential loan files (FHA, Conventional, VA). Ensure compliance with mortgage loan guidelines and documentation requirements. Assist with income calculation and verification (training available if needed). Communicate with borrowers and third parties to collect required documents. Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding loan conditions. Support the loan processing workflow from file setup to submission. Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely file progression.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in mortgage loan processing or mortgage operations. Understanding of FHA, Conventional, and VA loan guidelines (required). Familiarity with income documentation and debt-to-income calculations preferred. Strong organizational and documentation review skills. Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. Bilingual: Spanish and English (required). Willingness to learn and grow within the mortgage field.
