Job Description
Directly supervise and coordinate the work activities of cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are completed to specification and on schedule
Oversee in-house services such as laundry, maintenance, dry cleaning, and valet support as needed
Inspect work performed and facilities to guarantee adherence to cleanliness and safety protocols
Select and recommend appropriate cleaning materials for various surfaces and textiles
Advise managers and administrative staff regarding room readiness and occupancy status
Provide ongoing training, guidance, and motivation to team members
Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to create schedules, track performance metrics, and deliver team briefings or reports
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for reporting, tracking, and presentations
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
Experience supervising or coordinating work activities of janitorial or housekeeping staff
Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail
Ability to inspect, evaluate, and ensure the quality of cleaning services and facilities
Knowledge of customer and personal service principles for high-standard service delivery
High school diploma or equivalent with related work experience
Experience in remote supervision or coordination of distributed teams
Familiarity with facility management or cleaning industry best practices
Background in onboarding, training, or process improvement for housekeeping operation
