Cobol Programmer

Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 3–5 years of experience in COBOL development.

Skills and Experience - Proficiency in COBOL, with a deep understanding of syntax, data structures, file handling, and program logic. - Strong understanding of core insurance products, processes, and terminology. - Experience with mainframe systems (IBM i) and related software such as DB2 and IBM WebSphere MQ. - Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., DB2) and database concepts. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Development experience in L400/GASIA core system.
