Job Description
RIKEN KEIKI ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD., previously known as R K Instruments (S) Pte Ltd., established in August 1993, is a wholly owned subsidiary office of RIKEN KEIKI Co., Ltd, Japan.
We are a leading gas detection equipment company servicing for the Marine, Offshore Production & Shipping, Oil & Gas Refining, Semiconductor Manufacturing & Institution Laboratories.
Due to our development and rapid expansion, we are actively searching for qualified and committed individuals to join our workforce.
Responsibilities:
Perform engineering design work and prepare engineering and fabrication documentations
Understand client specifications and requirements
Liaison with clients, vendors and third parties on technical issues
Prepare material take-off/estimation and procurement specifications
Implement product improvements and design changes
Review of client Purchase Order with Company quotation and capturing all deliverables
Obtain quotations from third parties and provide support to the Sales team in preparing customer quotations
Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure smooth execution of all projects
Monitor progress of projects and prepare progress reports
Responsible for project sourcing, procurement and monitoring of deliveries
Responsible for all document compilation and submission to client
Handle client feedback and ensure proper follow-up actions
Coordinate with vendors for all matters relating to production and fabrication quality
Responsible to ensure that vendors deliver materials of acceptable quality and in accordance with customers specifications.
Coordinating staff and internal resources
Sales support in tender process
Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
Min Diploma/Degree in Electronics / Engineering / Mechatronics or equivalent
Min 5 years of project management experience
Capacity to manage high stress situations
Ability to multi-task and work in various project simultaneously
Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrate strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude
Strong problem-solving ability, troubleshooting and analytical skills
This position will involve local and regional travel (20% overseas travel).
Self-motivated and committed to work
Mature and willing to work under limited supervision
Able to start work immediately or at a short notice is an added advantage.
