Operations Officer

Based at the Pasir Panjang PSA Terminal, the Operations Officer will be responsible for supervising and ensuring vessels and shore cargo operations at the Pasir Panjang Port/Jurong Port are carried out smoothly and safely at the quickest possible turn‑around time.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising daily cargo handling operations, including terminal activities.

Collaborating with workers to ensure efficient dispatch and uphold vessel and cargo operations safety standards.

Identifying and resolving operational issues by working with workers and authorities.

Monitoring vessel activities, addressing any challenges to maintain smooth and secure operations.

Providing training to stevedores and suppliers to maintain high cargo safety and quality levels.

Key Requirements

Must be experienced working in Port.

Knowledge in vessel operations, cargo handling, and logistics procedures.

Ability to lift heavy stuff and stand for prolonged hours.

Will be required to work long and irregular hours including late night, weekends and public holiday.
