Job Summary
Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, the Customer Sales Support Representative (CSSR) plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication, technical expertise, and sales acumen. The CSSR supports the Indonesia team for Crushing and Screening by processing sales orders, quotation requests, and enquiries for all equipment spare parts, tools, and consumable products from customers and distributors. As the first interface with customers, the CSSR delivers worldโclass service, including quoting, booking of orders, and logistic support such as dispatch tracking and documentation assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customers, guiding enquiries through to order completion and cash collection.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to achieve sales objectives, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via telephone and email regarding product availability, prices, delivery times, and order status.
Handle telephone queries, clarify issues, and direct problems toward solutions.
Monitor customer and supplier orders, process sales and invoices, and ensure accurate and timely dispatch, invoicing, and payment.
Coordinate with internal departments such as suppliers, warehouse, finance, inventory, and export/import to confirm order status and resolve complaints.
Request quotations from external suppliers and manage projects from quotation to final purchase.
Register new customers and suppliers, maintaining system records and related documentation.
Proactively follow up with customers via calls and emails, keeping them updated and building relationships.
Maintain an archive of documents related to work, including contracts, purchase orders, specifications, and commercial offers.
Develop sales skills and product knowledge by working closely with experienced representatives to promote products, close orders, and resolve problems.
Manage and grow existing business in line with customer segmentation, rules, and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Education, Experience & Competencies
Bachelorโs degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
More than 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or technical support roles within the mining or construction industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Intermediate English proficiency.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.
