Job Description
We are seeking a business-minded leader to oversee daily clinic operations, drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and elevate client experience while working hand-in-hand with the Head of Medical Department to build a thriving, high-performing pet hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily clinic operations, patient flow, and compliance with SOPs and veterinary regulations
Oversee clinic financials including budget, revenue, and expenses
Collaborate with the Head of Medical Department to ensure medical teams have the resources, systems, and support needed to deliver excellent patient care
Lead strategic workforce planning through collaborating on recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering strong team morale across veterinarians, nurses, and supporting staff
Deliver exceptional client service, resolve concerns professionally, and lead client engagement and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Hospital Operations Management, or related field
Minimum 3 years management experience, preferably in veterinary or healthcare settings
Proven ability to manage day-to-day client-facing and doctor-facing operational activities
Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business goals into actionable plans
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with experience leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams with empathy
Proficient in Excel and experience in using digital clinic systems
Excellent communication, crisis management, and client relations skills
Must have prior experience in owning and personally caring for a pet dog and cat, including feeding them and taking them to the vet
