Assistant Project Manager (Design/ Preliminary)

The Opportunity: In this role, you will be part of the Project Team where you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of the preliminary design phase of development projects. This role ensures that the design development process runs efficiently, aligns with project objectives, and meets technical, regulatory, and timeline requirements before entering the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities: 1) Project Planning & Coordination Assist the Project Manager in preparing project planning for the preliminary and design stages. Coordinate with internal teams including Ops, marketing, ITC and setup departments to ensure design alignment with project objectives. Support the development of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables related to design development.

2) Design Development Management Coordinate with architects, consultants, and designers during concept design, schematic design, and design development stages. Review design drawings and documents to ensure compliance with project brief, technical requirements, and company standards. Assist in monitoring design progress to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

3) Consultant & Vendor Coordination Liaise with external consultants such as architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other design specialists. Assist in managing consultant deliverables and ensuring timely submission of design documents. Support the evaluation and coordination of design-related vendors and consultants.

4) Documentation & Reporting Maintain organized documentation of drawings, design revisions, meeting minutes, and project correspondence. Prepare progress reports on design development for the Project Manager and management team. Track design changes and maintain proper version control of design documents.

5) Cost & Feasibility Support Assist in reviewing preliminary project budgets and cost estimates related to design. Identify potential design issues that may impact cost, timeline, or constructability. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Ops, marketing , IT and Setup teams to ensure design supports project positioning and market needs. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth transition into the construction phase.

What We Need: Bachelor in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Interior Designer Minimum 3-6 years of experience in related position Project coordination and management Fast paced people with measurable result Design review and technical understanding Familiarity with design software and documentation tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.)
