Senior Backend / Smart Contract Engineer (Rust – Solana) Global Remote

Plexus has partnered with a revenue-generating, next-generation DeFi trading platform building high-performance infrastructure on Solana.

We are looking for a Senior Rust Engineer with deep Solana smart contract experience who is passionate about DeFi and excited to make a real impact in a fast-moving startup environment. Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and optimizing Solana smart contracts in Rust Working closely with trading, infra, and product teams to build low-latency DeFi systems Contributing to on-chain architecture, validator integrations, and performance optimization Building secure, production-grade systems handling real trading volume Requirements: Deep proficiency in Rust (production-level experience) Strong experience developing and deploying Solana smart contracts/programs Solid understanding of Solana validators, transaction lifecycle, and network architecture Familiarity with high-performance data infrastructure (e.g. Redpanda, ClickHouse) TypeScript experience for tooling, SDKs, or backend services Benefits: Competitive Salary Performance bonus + token package Fully remote (global) Opportunity to work on a live, revenue-generating DeFi trading platform
