Learning And Development Specialist (Mining) PT Indexim Coalindo is a leading coal mining company with large-scale operations across Indonesia. We are expanding our Human Capital team and seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design, manage, and deliver impactful learning initiatives that strengthen workforce capability across our organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, Industrial Engineering, or Social Sciences.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training roles (Officer/Specialist level).

Demonstrated ability in managing end-to-end L&D processes: needs analysis, planning, facilitation, administration, and reporting.

Experience developing learning materials, curriculum, and blended-learning modules.

Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning technologies.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with confident presentation ability.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and site teams.

Experience in mining, heavy industry, or multi-site operations is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and translate findings into structured L&D programs aligned with organizational priorities.

Develop, update, and maintain learning materials, curriculum, and competency-based training frameworks.

Coordinate and facilitate learning activities—onsite, online, and blended formats—across multiple sites.

Manage L&D documentation, attendance, records, and centralized learning database.

Evaluate program effectiveness using assessments, surveys, performance metrics, and other evaluation tools.

Support continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and learning culture within the organization.
