DATA ENGINEER (1-Year Contract) Are you an experienced Data Engineer ready to design and build scalable, high-performance data systems? Join our team to develop robust data architecture that drives business strategy and digital transformation.

Employment Type 1-Year Contract (Extendable based on performance and business needs)

Key Responsibilities Design and build data architecture (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Mart) aligned with business needs and IT strategy. Develop and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) from various internal and external data sources. Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and validity. Optimize data processing and storage performance. Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business units to provide accurate and timely data. Implement data security standards, access controls, and data governance policies. Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipeline and system performance. Prepare technical documentation for data architecture, workflows, and operational standards. Support audit, regulatory, and management reporting requirements. Stay updated with emerging data technologies to continuously improve system capabilities and efficiency.

Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or related IT fields. Minimum GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale). At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle). Understanding of modern and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). Experience in ETL/ELT processes using tools such as Pentaho, IBM DataStage, or Talend. Solid understanding of Data Warehouse and cloud storage concepts. Familiarity with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and Google BigQuery. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, or Scala. Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and documentation standards.
