Your role As the Tax Controller, you will act as the financial leader of the lens business, guiding growth and profitability through financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will align financial decisions with strategic objectives and work closely with various departments to provide insights that shape strategies and resource allocation.

Main Responsibilities

Oversee the company’s tax obligations and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Key Activities

Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns, manage tax audits, and respond to tax‑related inquiries.

Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position while remaining compliant.

Identify and mitigate tax‑related risks, such as penalties, legal issues, and financial losses.

Create and review company policies and procedures related to tax compliance.

Oversee and manage the engagement with tax consultants.

Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the company’s practices are up‑to‑date.

Effectively communicate with internal teams, external stakeholders (such as tax authorities and external auditors), and clients regarding tax matters.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting related to taxes.

Main Requirements

Minimum of 3‑5 years experience in Finance, Accounting and Tax, preferably with at least 2 years in a tax consulting firm.

Audit firm experience is a plus.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required; postgraduate degree is welcome.

Brevet Tax certification is a plus.

Strong tax and accounting background.

Strong Microsoft Excel technical skills.

Deep understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.

Ability to analyze complex tax issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.

Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and build strong relationships.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
