Service Manager (Medical Equipment)

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and manage the Service Engineer team responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices

Develop and implement service strategies to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction

Monitor service operations, including preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and corrective actions

Ensure timely response and resolution for service requests and technical issues

Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, and Technical) to support business needs and customer requirements

Maintain service quality standards in accordance with company policies and healthcare regulations

Prepare and review service reports, performance metrics, and improvement plans

Manage spare parts planning, service documentation, and technical records

Conduct technical training and competency development for service engineers

Handle customer escalations and build strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare partners

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in technical service/after-sales service, preferably in medical devices or healthcare equipment. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role

Have a good knowledge in healthcare industriy regulations and service standards and have experience in handling diagnostic, radiology, dental, or laboratory equipment will be an advantage

Strong leadership and team management skills

Solid understanding of medical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation

Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Familiar with service management systems and reporting

Willing to travel for service support and site visits if required

Proficient in Microsoft Office and service documentation
