You’ll play an active role in helping clients understand the evolution of search, translating complex ideas into simple language that builds confidence and drives action. The role focuses on the SEO functions you are used to, as well as emerging GEO activities, such as:

Define and implement on-page optimisation strategies

Lead audits, technical recommendations, and data-driven reporting

Monitor site performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Demonstrated understanding of generative engine optimisation and AI-driven search - we understand that you might require some upskilling in this area, which we are able to provide

Proven ability to lead client presentations and discussions, supported by strong written skills

Experience with site migrations, redesigns, and large-scale content optimisation

Strong analytical and reporting skills using GA4, Search Console, and SEO suites such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog

Curious, analytical mindset with the ability to connect data, content, and strategy

Collaborative approach, comfortable working across teams to deliver the best client outcome, not just the “SEO” outcome

Comfort with Google Analytics/Website Analytics would be ideal, but not essential

Submission Tips Please provide a one-page cover letter explaining what skills you will bring to the role and why you would be a great fit with Luminary. Using AI to assist you to complete this is fine, but ensure that you make the letter your own.
