Senior Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead B2B growth in the Jakarta region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales through key modern trade channels, proactively acquiring new clients, and leveraging data-driven insights to secure strategic partnerships. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the Indonesian FMCG and tobacco markets.
Key Responsibilities
Drive B2B business development and manage key accounts in the Jakarta area, with a focus on maintaining and growing sales in chain convenience stores such as mmart.
Proactively identify and acquire new clients through multi-channel approaches including online platforms, offline engagements, trade shows, and field visits.
Utilize data analytics and social media insights to identify high-potential brand clients, independently develop strategic accounts, and overcome barriers to close deals.
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Retail teams to align strategies and accelerate B2B growth and revenue targets.
Demonstrate strong coordination skills to mobilize internal resources efficiently, address client issues promptly, and ensure seamless order delivery and client satisfaction.
Conduct market and competitor analysis, monitor industry trends, and support the Regional Director in developing effective sales plans and strategies.
Requirements
Fluent in Indonesian and English (both written and spoken).
Proven experience in FMCG sales within Indonesia, with solid knowledge of local General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channel networks.
Based in Jakarta with experience in retail management and MT operations.
Familiar with international trade procedures and commercial terms.
Responsible, proactive, and agile with exceptional client relationship and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of the Indonesian tobacco market is highly preferred.
