Technical Service Assistant Manager – Junior / Senior

Our team is seeking a proactive, technically skilled, and customer-oriented Technical Service Assistant Manager to support and enhance our service operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical service activities, supporting customers on-site and remotely, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and hands‑on technical expertise in industrial equipment environments.
Responsibilities
Support and manage daily technical service operations within the assigned region
Provide on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment
Lead and mentor service engineers to ensure service excellence and timely issue resolution
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, R&D, HQ) to resolve complex technical matters
Conduct technical training sessions for customers and internal staff
Monitor service KPIs and prepare regular service performance reports
Manage spare parts planning and service resource allocation
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field)
Junior Level: 3–5 years of experience in technical/field service within the industrial automation or SMT industry
Senior Level: 5–8 years of relevant experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
Strong hands‑on experience with SMT equipment such as SPI, AOI, AXI, or similar inspection systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Willingness to travel frequently
Experience in Automotive, Electronics, EMS, or Semiconductor industries is preferred
