Responsibilities; Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as service contracts, vendor agreements, and partnership agreements. Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and align with the company's objectives. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of corporate documents, including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and meeting minutes. Support the company in fulfilling corporate governance obligations. Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations impacting the life insurance industry. Ensure the company's operations comply with prevailing legal and regulatory frameworks. Identify and mitigate potential legal risks related to commercial and corporate matters. Provide advice and recommendations to minimize exposure to legal disputes. Provide legal advice to various departments on matters such as product compliance, marketing materials, and operational issues. Collaborate with external counsel when required. Assist in resolving disputes or litigation involving commercial or corporate issues. Represent the company in legal proceedings as necessary. Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and other stakeholders regarding corporate legal matters. Support cross-departmental projects requiring legal expertise.
