Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Head Yakiniku will be responsible for managing culinary activities related to preparing, presenting, and overseeing yakiniku menu items. Responsibilities include ensuring food quality and presentation standards, developing new recipes, overseeing kitchen operations, managing inventory, and training kitchen staff. The Head Yakiniku will ensure that every dish reflects the superior quality and flavor synonymous with Jittlada Restaurant Group.
Qualifications
Expertise in professional culinary arts, particularly in Japanese/Yakiniku cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional cooking techniques and food presentation.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing kitchen operations and training a culinary team effectively.
Knowledge of hygiene, food safety standards, and inventory management practices.
Exceptional creativity in recipe development and an innovative approach to menu creation.
Top-notch organizational and time management abilities to operate in a fast-paced setting.
Dedication to delivering excellence in food quality and guest satisfaction.
Prior experience in luxury dining establishments preferred.
Proficiency in communication and collaboration to work effectively with the culinary team and other departments.
