Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Law (Master’s degree an advantage) with 7+ years of experience in the same position.

Proven experience in handling permits, licenses and regulatory approvals.

Strong background in liaising and coordinating with government authorities, regulators and related institutions.

Good knowledge of Indonesian Laws & regulations, particularly corporate, commercial, land, construction and licensing.

Good command in English, both spoken & written.

Good analytical thinking, detail oriented & organized.

Willing to travel for business trip as required.

Domiciled in Batam.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal advice to management on corporate, regulatory and operational matters.

Lead and manage licensing and permit process, including coordination with relevant government.

Perform draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs and other legal documents.

Ensure company compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Act as the main legal liaison with government agencies, regulators, legal consultants and notaries.

Identify legal and develop risks mitigation strategies.

Oversee legal documentation, corporate records and regulatory filings.

Support project development and corporate activities from a legal perspective.

Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on company operations.
