Legal Counsel (In-house) | Up to $20k

We are a

Chinese-listed company establishing our Singapore presence

and are seeking an experienced, commercially minded

Legal Counsel

to build and lead our local legal function from the ground up.

This is a

high-impact, standalone role

where you will act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders—shaping the company’s legal, contractual, and compliance framework while supporting rapid business growth in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Provide end-to-end legal advice across commercial, operational, and regulatory matters under Singapore law

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (customers, suppliers, logistics, NDAs, etc.)

Establish legal templates, policies, governance, and compliance frameworks for the Singapore entity

Advise on credit risk, bad debt exposure, and support demand letters and pre‑litigation matters

Ensure compliance with Singapore corporate, regulatory, and employment (MOM) requirements

Manage disputes and external counsel, with a focus on cost efficiency and practical outcomes

Requirements

Singapore‑qualified lawyer with 8–10+ years PQE

Strong expertise in Singapore contract, corporate, and regulatory law

Prior in‑house experience and/or exposure to fast‑growing, cross‑border businesses preferred

Commercial, pragmatic, and comfortable operating independently
