People Development Manager (Group)

People Development Manager Responsibilities

Develop and implement people development strategies aligned with the group’s business goals and operational needs.

Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments including production, quality assurance, R&D, supply chain, and corporate functions.

Design and manage training and development programs to enhance employee competencies, leadership capabilities, and technical skills.

Develop leadership development programs for supervisors and managers across group companies.

Implement talent management and succession planning programs to support long-term organizational growth.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development initiatives.

Support performance management processes including Individual Development Plans (IDP) and career development programs.

Collaborate with HR teams and department heads to strengthen workforce capability and improve overall organizational performance.

Ensure training programs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to cosmetic manufacturing.

Manage learning initiatives such as internal training, workshops, coaching, and mentoring programs across the group.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Management, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or People Development roles.

Experience in manufacturing industry (preferably cosmetics, FMCG, or pharmaceutical) is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of competency development, talent management, and organizational development.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in designing and implementing training programs for operational and corporate employees.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
