At English 1, we help passionate teachers become great through our Academic Development Plan. As a kids and teens teacher, you’ll teach enthusiastic students aged 3 to 18, have fun in the classroom, and watch them grow. It’s a place where both students and teachers develop and thrive together.

Responsibilities

Teach English to kids aged 3–18 in groups of up to 16 students (both online and offline classes)

Use electronic media and English 1-developed courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively

Plan and deliver lessons to children

Assign and evaluate out-of-class exercises

Maintain student and class records

Begin and end classes on time, ensuring student safety and engagement

Evaluate student progress and provide ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and their parents

Assist in the placement testing and interviewing of new students

Substitute for colleagues when necessary, sometimes on short notice

Participate in social activities with students organized by your school to encourage oral English proficiency

Follow all English 1 policies, procedures, and center practices

Essential Qualifications

College/University graduate

A recognized TEFL qualification or equivalent (International teachers only)

Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office Package)

Evidence of committal to professional development
