Area Sales Manager (Medical Device)

Overview

Adecco Indonesia is representing a leading multinational medical device company that is expanding its footprint in Indonesia. To support their growth, they are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive commercial execution for the Interventional and Critical Care portfolio across Jakarta and West Java. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales plans for Interventional & Critical Care product lines across Jakarta and West Java. Expand market presence by identifying new business opportunities in key hospitals and private hospital groups. Handle key accounts, including major vertical hospitals and strategic institutions in both regions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, KOLs, hospital management, and procurement teams. Coordinate with distributors, ensuring alignment with company targets, pricing policies, and compliance guidelines. Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and opportunity tracking. Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to management. Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant medical device regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards. Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or related field. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in medical devices or healthcare sales, preferably in interventional, critical care, or acute care portfolios. Proven track record of achieving sales targets in hospital‑based selling environments. Strong relationships with clinicians, procurement teams, and major hospitals in Jakarta and Bandung. Solid understanding of tender processes, hospital buying cycles, and clinical workflows. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. Able to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and lead field execution effectively. Willing to travel across assigned regions.
