Import Manager (Pharmaceutical)

About the role As the Import Manager (Pharmaceutical) at PT Tigaka Distrindo Perkasa, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and compliant importation of pharmaceutical products. This full-time position is based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta, and it offers the opportunity to work for a leading player in the pharmaceuticals and medical devices industry.

What you'll be doing

Manage the end-to-end import process for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures

Liaise with customs authorities, shipping companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely and seamless clearance of imported goods

Monitor and analyse import data, identifying areas for process improvement and cost optimisation

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners

Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory records and documentation

Provide guidance and training to the import team to enhance their knowledge and skills

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align import activities with the company's overall business objectives

What we're looking for

Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar import management role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry

In-depth knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure

Strong analytical and data management capabilities

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
