Qualifications

High school diploma or Vocational High School in related field.

A minimum of 1 year as journeyman or technician level in a critical environment, or 2 years in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of both.

Ability to lift and move 50 lbs of equipment, work on platforms/ladders and under raised floors.

Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays, and on shift-based schedules.

Experience working as M/E technician in data centres or power plants.

Universal Refrigerant Handler's certification.

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with contractors.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems, including electrical, mechanical, building and monitoring and control areas.

Track and trend operational characteristics.
