Job Description
· Minimum 10 years of experience in the area of Enterprise monitoring, Event Management, Infrastructure Discovery, Automation, Configuration Management and Integration with ITOM solutions
· Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in OpsRamp design, implementation and integration with 3rd party solutions
· Collects, generates, or helps refine high level requirements / use cases and creates implementation strategy, acceptance criteria (with input from the customer)
· Work with different engineering teams across the organization in order to determine scope for monitoring & event management solution designs and provide implementation roadmap
· Experience in monitoring database systems, Understand and manage systems upgrade path, scaling and automate routine tasks.
· Recommend best practice for configuration management for all OpsRamp components.
· Responsible for the formation and implementation of OpsRamp Solution standards, practices, Automations and procedures that best fits for an enterprise infrastructure.
· Should have good experience in Design, development, and implementation of IT Operations monitoring solutions with integration into other ITSM applications
· Design integration workflows using OpsRamp Platform.
· Experience with REST and SOAP web services and use of connectors for integration.
· Solid understanding of integration design patterns, SOA/EAI best practices
· Ability to troubleshoot OpsRamp (debuggers / flow analyzers) deployment issues
· Knowledge in using J2EE, XML, XSLT, JMS, JSON, SQL, Python, NodeJS
· Expertise in configuring Dynamic Applications, Business Services, Dashboard & Reports
· Hands on experience in infrastructure discovery through OpsRamp platform and onboarding the Server infrastructure on to OpsRamp platform.
· Experience in System Administration
· Experience in monitoring Agent installation, Silo configuration and management
· Experience in event management functionality. Netcool Omnibus / Moogsoft / Splunk / MF OpsBridge and other event management tools are added advantage.
· Experience in integration with Service Management tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy
· Knowledge in third party discovery tools like Service Now and BMC discovery is an added advantage.
· Strong understanding of Infrastructure network concepts and protocols.
· Experience in remediation of discovery and monitoring issues in the infrastructure
· Good analytical, problem solving, logical thinking. Standby support during non-office hour is required.
· Co-ordinating with support teams in resolving issues. Working with Vendor in updating the Patches, fixes, and version upgrades
· Interested to work in multi skilled environment and adapted to learn new technologies that supports any Enterprise Infrastructure
· Customer facing experience is a must
