Mandarin Speaker Specialist

About the role PT Sany Heavy Industry Indonesia, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment, is seeking a Mandarin Speaker Specialist to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting our growing operations and fostering strong relationships with our Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.

What you'll be doing

Serve as the primary point of contact for Mandarin-speaking clients, handling inquiries, coordinating meetings, and providing excellent customer service

Translate and interpret Mandarin to English and vice versa, ensuring clear and accurate communication

Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and other business documents for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of initiatives and projects involving Mandarin-speaking partners

Provide cultural insights and guidance to help navigate cultural differences and facilitate effective collaboration

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of Mandarin-related operations

What we're looking for

Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar administrative or client-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant business software

Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
