We are looking for an experienced
Water Treatment Sales Manager
to lead and expand our water and wastewater treatment chemicals business. This is a full-time, on-site position based in South Jakarta.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of water treatment chemicals and solutions across industrial, commercial, and municipal sectors. The role involves building long-term relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored chemical and technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
Additional responsibilities include preparing sales plans and reports, monitoring market and regulatory trends, and working closely with technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution. Achieving sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction is a key focus of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales of water and wastewater treatment chemicals
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including plant managers, procurement heads, and C-suite executives
Identify new projects, tenders, and long-term contract opportunities
Work closely with technical teams to propose optimized water treatment solutions
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates
Monitor industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities
Achieve revenue and margin targets while strengthening key accounts
Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Qualifications
Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills with proven B2B experience
Experience engaging with senior management and C-suite stakeholders
Solid knowledge of water treatment chemicals and systems (e.g. cooling water, boiler water, RO, wastewater treatment)
Experience serving industrial sectors such as power plants, manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, or municipal water is preferred
Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and sales reporting
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site support
Bachelorโs degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Previous sales management experience is an advantage
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
Experience managing large industrial water treatment accounts
Established network within industrial plants, EPCs, utilities, or water treatment service providers
