PERSOL Indonesia is assisting one of Japanese Adhesive Manufacture company, looking for Marketing Manager located in Jakarta & Cikarang.
Key responsibility areas
1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership Develop and drive the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
Define brand positioning and value proposition in the Indonesian market
Set annual marketing targets, KPIs, and budget allocation
Lead and supervise the marketing team (offline & digital)
Monitor performance and ensure strategic execution across all channels
2. Brand Management & Market Expansion Strengthen brand visibility and market share in target segments
Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships
Oversee product launches and strategic communication plans
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all customer touchpoints
3. Offline & Event Marketing Oversight Define exhibition and trade show strategy and objectives
Oversee planning and execution conducted by the team
Evaluate ROI of events and optimize investment effectiveness
Build high-level relationships with key industry stakeholders
4. Digital Marketing Governance Define digital marketing roadmap (SNS, Website, SEO/SEM, content strategy)
Oversee digital campaigns execution and performance analytics
Ensure data-driven decision-making in marketing initiatives
Guide content direction and brand storytelling strategy
5. Customer Engagement & Commercial Alignment Align marketing initiatives with sales strategy
Design customer journey strategy to enhance engagement and conversion
Utilize market data and customer insights for business growth
Support top management with market intelligence and reporting
Required Skills:
What We Expect from the New Marketing Manager
1. Strategic Leadership Able to review past marketing initiatives critically and conduct proper analysis and reflection.
Translate data into actionable strategies.
Bring structured thinking and stronger strategic direction.
2. Channel & Distributor Alignment Approximately 50% of sales are domestic.
Strengthen alignment with the exclusive distributor and Lead discussions and negotiations directly with distributor PD and Director-level counterparts.
Capable of negotiating on equal footing with senior external stakeholders.
3. Team Management & Maturity Lead a young marketing team and provide structured guidance.
Preferably someone around late 30s to around 40 years old for stronger maturity and leadership presence.
Report directly to top management.
4. Skill Requirements Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing is acceptable.
English proficiency is required.
Japanese language skill is a plus.
Marketing experience 5years more and need experience management team.
