Workday Project Manager

This engagement requires a Project Manager to support priority initiatives across its HR Information Technology landscape (HRIT). The Project Manager will oversee and drive successful execution of projects centered around Workday. Scope to include end to end global payroll services, automation of processes, absent management, and AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities Workday & HRIT Delivery Lead enhancements, module upgrades, and integrations (focus on payroll, absence management and time and attendance). Oversee end to end global payroll services. Drive automation of processes. Drive readiness, accuracy, and adoption of global payroll workflows. Oversee testing, data readiness, change management, and deployment. Coordinate processes, vendor deliverables, and compliance requirements. Coordinate cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT).

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Process Automation Deliver AI use cases such as workflow automation, analytics, and predictive insights. Collaborate with data, security, and business stakeholders to ensure responsible AI deployment. Manage pilots, scaling, and post-implementation optimization.

PMO Governance The Project Manager will: Apply Clients standardized PM methodology and stage-gates. Maintain structured reporting and executive visibility. Drive proactive risk, issue, and dependency management. Ensure alignment with IT controls, cybersecurity policies, and data governance. Facilitate stakeholder engagement, change adoption, and delivery readiness.

Required Qualifications The candidate should have more than 5 years’ experience in Workday and the related ecosystem deployments with global companies. Strong communication skills and PM certification is required (PMP cert. Not Workday PM cert). Ability to work with multiple stakeholders that will include executive leadership level.
