Water Resources Engineer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering

1-2 years experience in a similar role

Exposure to hydropower projects or renewable energy sector is preferred

Familiarity with HEC RAS, HEC HMS, Hydrognomon, Civil 3D, GIS, or Global Mapper

Understanding of design discharge, flood analysis, and ecological flow concepts

Strong motivation to learn and grow in the water resources and hydropower field

Responsibilities

Assist in hydrological and hydraulic analyses for hydropower projects

Support calculations for design discharge, flood analysis, and flow duration curves (FDC)

Assist in preparing technical reports, drawings, and engineering documentation

Support hydraulic modelling using tools such as HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS

Assist in data processing, analysis, and interpretation using MS Excel and GIS-based tools

Support site investigations and field data collection, when required

Coordinate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
