AR Collection

What will you do? Review the company debtor list Contacting customers and informing them of their overdue bills Advising customers on their payment option and suggesting methods of payments Negotiating suitable payment plans Preparing customers financial statements for banks and the state credit departments Instituting legal action when customer fail to pay their debt Responding to customers queries Contacting lawyers and insurance agencies to facilitate payments

Qualifications: Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in Collection Officer Bachelor's degree in Accountant or a related field. Excellent negotiating skills Willing to visit customer Good written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with state debt collection laws Knowledge of payment plans and accounting procedures
