Position Summary

Wipe down fitness centre machines and remove towels, trash, and debris from the fitness centre area.

Maintain adequate supplies of cups and water in the recreation area.

Clean fitness and recreation area restrooms and showers.

Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.

Distribute lockers and towels to guests.

Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform supervisor/manager of low supply items.

Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.

Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests and enforce rules and regulations of the recreation facility for safety and welfare.

Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete required safety training and certifications.

Follow company policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.

Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette and use clear, professional language.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.

Perform required physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, moving or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and reaching overhead or below the knees.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

No related work experience required.

No supervisory experience required.

Required Qualifications

CPR Certification.

First Aid Certification.

Certification or training required by local and state agencies.

Ability to work on fitness equipment and transport supplies.
