The Opportunity
They are seeking an accomplished
Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
to provide global medical, clinical, and scientific leadership across the diagnostic radiopharma portfolio. This is a pivotal executive role, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board, investors, and senior leadership team.
The CMO will shape medical strategy from clinical development through global launch and lifecycle management, ensuring scientific excellence, regulatory credibility, and strong engagement with key external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the global medical and clinical strategy for diagnostic radiopharmaceutical programs from early development for future late developments and eventually commercialisation
Provide executive oversight of clinical development, medical affairs, pharmacovigilance, and post-marketing activities
Act as the company’s senior medical and scientific authority in interactions with regulators, HTA bodies, KOLs, and strategic partners
Guide protocol design, imaging endpoints, dosimetry strategy, safety oversight, and regulatory submissions
Build and lead a high-performing global medical organisation, including medical affairs, clinical science, and safety functions
Support corporate strategy, portfolio evaluation, due diligence, and investor communications
Represent the company at major scientific congresses and industry forums.
Candidate Profile
MD with specialist training in nuclear medicine, radiology, oncology, or a closely related discipline
Extensive experience in diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals/molecular imaging, ideally including global product launches
Proven leadership at senior Medical Director, VP, or CMO level within biotech, pharma, or radiopharma organisations
Deep understanding of regulatory pathways, GCP, medical governance, and post-approval medical affairs for diagnostics
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both scientific and executive levels
Excellent communication skills and credibility with regulators, investigators, and external partners
Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage
