Job Description

This role focuses on improving system reliability, maximizing the effectiveness of automated testing, and achieving high user satisfaction, all while supporting smooth product development and release cycles. Responsibilities

Conduct manual and automated testing on applications to ensure functionality, performance, and stability. Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on technical and business requirements. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or equivalent. Ensure automated testing is integrated effectively into the development workflow. Analyze and report bugs found during testing and production. Collaborate with developers to ensure issues are resolved and retested efficiently. Monitor quality metrics such as test coverage, defect rates, and production bugs. Prepare postmortem reports for bugs found in production. Propose improvements to QA processes based on incident analysis. Work closely with developers, product owners, and UI/UX designers to understand feature requirements. Document test results and QA processes clearly and consistently. Help evaluate product quality from a user’s perspective and contribute to improving customer satisfaction scores (CSAT). Collect and interpret feedback to align product quality with user expectations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in Software QA or Quality Assurance Engineering roles. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus. Proficient in manual testing and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman). Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr. Basic understanding of API testing and SQL/database queries
