Symfony Developer (Backend)

to join our growing development team. Location: Sleman, Yogyakarta (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using Symfony Framework. Build scalable and maintainable APIs and web applications. Collaborate closely with frontend developers, project managers, and designers to deliver high-quality projects on time. Integrate third-party services and APIs when needed. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements Proven 3-5years of experience as a Backend Developer with solid understanding of PHP, OOP principles, and Symfony framework (e.g: good understanding Dependency Injection, Event Dispatcher, Doctrine ORM, etc). Experience with EasyAdmin is a big plus. Experience working with unit testing (such as PHP Unit) is a plus. Experience with refactoring legacy code and improving existing code, is a plus. Experience with twig templating engine is a plus. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and version control (GIT). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication skills, English proficiency (both written and spoken) is essential, as you’ll collaborate with international clients and teams. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Willing to work onsite in our office (Sleman, Yogyakarta).
