Job Description
Head of Human Resource & Administration (Community, HR Strategy, HR Function)
Develop and execute
HR strategies
aligned with business objectives to drive a high-performance culture, employee engagement, and talent retention.
Oversee the
full spectrum of HR functions , including recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, and learning & development.
Lead the development and implementation of
HR policies and procedures , ensuring compliance with employment laws, best practices, and union requirements.
Partner with
Management and Department Heads
on workforce planning, employer branding, and HR & administrative budgeting.
Manage
complex HR matters , including grievances, disciplinary actions, union relations, and Collective Agreement negotiations.
Oversee
HR analytics, reporting, and administrative functions , including facilities, vendors, contracts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years’ experience.
Proven experience in a similar leadership role, with a strong understanding of local labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s objectives.
