Head of Mining Operations - PJO

Industry: Nickel Mining Job Summary The PJO is fully responsible for overseeing mining operations, ensuring production targets, safety compliance, operational efficiency, and regulatory adherence. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily mining activities in accordance with SOP and mining regulations Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently Monitor operational performance including heavy equipment utilization and manpower productivity Manage operational costs including fuel consumption and equipment efficiency Ensure full compliance with government mining regulations (including Kepmen requirements) Lead operational teams and maintain strong coordination with supervisors and contractors Analyze production data and prepare regular operational reports Implement improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency Maintain good communication with management and relevant stakeholders

Requirements Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent Minimum 10 years experience as PJO in nickel mining operations POM and Safety certifications (mandatory) Strong leadership and decision-making skills Strong understanding of mining production planning and fleet management Proficient in English Willing to be placed on site and join immediately
