Ship Maintenance Planner

About the role We are seeking an experienced Ship Maintenance Planner to join our team in South Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the maintenance activities for our fleet of ships, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for the company's ships

Liaise with ship captains and engineering teams to understand maintenance requirements and priorities

Coordinate the scheduling and execution of maintenance tasks, optimizing the utilization of resources

Monitor maintenance performance and identify areas for improvement

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and costs

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards

Provide regular reports on the maintenance status of the fleet

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Ship Maintenance Planner or similar role in the engineering or maintenance industry

Strong understanding of ship systems, maintenance procedures and applicable regulations

Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills

Proficient in using software for maintenance and data analysis tools, such as excel and other similar software

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

Degree in Engineering especially marine engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
