About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who can contribute immediately to day-to-day delivery, infrastructure work, and troubleshooting. A professional who can design, build, troubleshoot, and clearly explain what they create.
You will work closely with engineering, cloud services, and architecture teams to support and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, write, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Troubleshoot Jenkins pipeline failures and Terraform errors
Support cloud environments (primarily AWS), including permissions and access issues
Assist delivery teams with deployment challenges
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business teams
Contribute to infrastructure improvements and suggest optimizations

CI/CD & Source Control
Jenkins (standalone servers)
Pipelines written in Groovy
Bitbucket (current Git repository)
Infrastructure
Terraform
AWS
Upcoming Roadmap
Migration from Bitbucket to GitHub
Long-term adoption of GitHub Actions
The ideal candidate must be adaptable and comfortable working in environments undergoing tooling transitions.
Required Qualifications
Strong Terraform Experience (Non-Negotiable)
You must have:
Hands-on experience writing Terraform code from scratch
Deep understanding of Terraform fundamentals and commands
Ability to explain:
What you built
Why you built it
The use case
How you troubleshoot issues
Jenkins & CI/CD Expertise
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting standalone Jenkins pipelines
Understanding of pipeline logic
Ability to work with Groovy-based pipelines
(Groovy mastery is not mandatory, but you must be able to understand and maintain existing code.)
Strong Troubleshooting Skills
You should be comfortable:
Writing Terraform for new infrastructure (e.g., databases, platforms)
Investigating pipeline failures
Debugging Terraform issues
Resolving AWS permissions and access problems
Soft Skills & Collaboration
Strong communication skills
Proactive and curious mindset
Ability to ask questions and suggest improvements
Comfortable collaborating with architecture and business stakeholders
Certifications are a plus, but not required.
