Splunk Consultant

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and configure Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk environments

Onboard and normalize data from on-prem, cloud, and third-party sources

Build dashboards, reports, alerts, and use cases using SPL

Implement and support Splunk apps such as Enterprise Security (ES), ITSI, SOAR, and Observability

Collaborate with customers to understand business and technical requirements

Optimize Splunk performance, scalability, and search efficiency

Act as a trusted advisor on Splunk architecture and best practices

Support proof‑of‑concept (PoC) and pilot deployments

Troubleshoot ingestion, parsing, and architecture issues

Deliver workshops, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer sessions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Hands‑on experience with Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud

Strong knowledge of SPL (Search Processing Language)

Solid grasp of networking, security, and system fundamentals

Strong communication skills and a customer‑first mindset

Splunk certifications

Experience with SIEM, SOC operations, or detection engineering

Consulting or professional services background
