Job Description
Responsibilities
Serve as subject matter expert regarding system, process and procedure
Serve as a coach to the junior associate on the team
Perform managerial analysis and report of medium degree of complexity
Assist with the development and maintaining of compensation models
Prepare recommendations and implement mechanisms to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
Communicate with internal /external customers to ensure high level of customer service
Perform research and provide findings to customers and internal companies compensation team
Process administrative forms (such as New Hire and Change Forms, etc.)
Provide a high level of customer service
Take ownership of responsibilities
Ensure that all information is maintained as confidential
Handle direct inquiries regarding compensation payments
Rectify compensation errors by working with liaisons Business Partner support units
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong knowledge of Mutual Fund industry
5-7 years of related sales compensation experience
Build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external business partners
Strong Computer Skills and proficiency with MS Excel and Power Point
Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers
Excellent customer service skills and follow through
Exceptional attention to detail
Able to multi-task in a changing environment with a sense of urgency
Decision Authorities
Decisions at this position are made using judgment based on skills and knowledge already developed
Decisions beyond normal day to day may require escalation to management
