Job Overview
Hopefully, you! We're seeking an experienced, hands‑on Junior Drafter to join our Production team in Semarang. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing thoughtfully designed furniture ranges to market, effectively managing detailed product specifications and will drive quality control and cost efficiency of all product support processes. The Junior Drafter will work closely with the Furniture Production Manager, the Senior Drafter and the Quality Control Team.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and finalize 2D and 3D technical drawings for custom and mass‑production furniture using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, AI Skill, Corel Draw, 3ds Max)
Create detailed assembly and packaging drawings, including connectors, labelling, and box markings according to company standards
Apply and modify materials and 3D models to generate realistic renderings for design approval and production reference
Collaborate with the Furniture Production Manager, the Senior Drafter, and Quality Control Team to ensure design accuracy and production feasibility
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, accuracy requirements, and industry best practices before release to production
Maintain and organize drafting files, templates, and documentation to ensure consistency and traceability
Requirements
Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
Min 1 year experience as a Furniture Drafter
Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, AI Skill, Corel Draw, 3ds Max (bonus), and other relevant design tools
Basic knowledge of furniture construction, materials (wood, metal, upholstery), finishing, and hardware
Problem‑solving and creative thinking abilities
Strong collaborator, detail‑oriented, precise in drawings
Detail, responsible, taking ownership of every task and open to feedback
