Academic Learning & Development SPV

The Academic L&D is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring teacher development programs to ensure consistent academic quality across branches. This role supports recruitment onboarding, training delivery, competency assessment, and continuous professional development initiatives. The position works closely with Academic Operations, Curriculum Development, and school leaders to strengthen teacher readiness, classroom execution, and overall academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement structured teacher development programs (e.g., onboarding, academy, refresher training).

Develop competency frameworks, training modules, and assessment rubrics.

Facilitate workshops and learning sessions for teachers across branches.

Monitor teacher performance trends and identify development gaps.

Coordinate with Lead Teachers and Headmasters to align classroom standards.

Support recruitment onboarding and readiness validation processes.

Conduct classroom observations and provide structured feedback.

Ensure alignment with curriculum standards and Sparks academic framework.

Track training effectiveness and report development outcomes to management.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 3–5 years experience in preschool teaching and/or teacher training.

Strong understanding of classroom management, literacy, and early numeracy instruction.

Experience in designing training programs or mentoring teachers.

Ability to create structured assessment tools and evaluation rubrics.

Strong facilitation and communication skills.

Organized, data-oriented, and process-driven.

Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and curriculum teams.

Proficient in using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drive) and related digital tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
