Executive Assistant

About the role We are seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant to join our team at PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park, based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This role will be responsible to assist communication and interpretation to our Chinese‑speaking executives.

Responsibilities

Translating a wide range of documents, including reports, presentations and correspondence, from Mandarin to English/Bahasa Indonesia and vice versa.

Providing real‑time interpretation services during meetings, calls and other business interactions with Chinese‑speaking clients and partners.

Ensuring the accuracy, clarity and cultural appropriateness of all translations and interpretations.

Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to understand context and deliver high‑quality language services.

Providing support and guidance on legal and financial matters to meet executive requirements.

Qualifications

Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

At least 3 years of professional experience as a translator or interpreter, preferably in a business or industrial setting.

Strong research and analytical skills to ensure accurate and contextual translations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail.

Familiarity with translation software and other relevant technologies.

Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing sector and its terminology preferred.

Present a neat and professional appearance.

Prepared to undertake business travel and work extended hours as required.
