Role: Cloud Data Engineer Location: Europe (Remote) Duration: Contract

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Data Engineer. This role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.

Essential Skills & Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud data engineering and related disciplines, including: • 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance data pipelines for both streaming and batch data sources. • Experience in building and maintaining data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring data quality, reliability, security, and scalability on Google Cloud Platform • Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion. • Experience in BigQuery, SQL and Airflow • Experience coding in Python, including data structures, algorithms, and system and software design. • Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, continuous integration, or delivery. • Obtained Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification • Ability to communicate and work fluently in English Preferred Qualification: • [Optional] Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish • Experience in technical consulting. • Experience in advanced SQL tuning and optimization for cost and performance. • Experience in building data streaming processing pipelines and understanding of event delivery semantics. • Experience architecting, developing software, or building production-grade Big Data solutions on public Cloud managed services. • Experience in collaborating with data scientists, data analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions accordingly
