Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and field-experienced
Head of Operation
to lead our surveying and inspection divisions. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high safety standards (QHSE), and ensuring all field activities comply with
SNI ISO/IEC 17020:2012
standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mineral inspection and marine surveys (Draft Survey/On-Off Hire).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Excellence:
Lead and oversee all field operations, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and External Working Instructions (EWI) for sampling, surveying, and inspection.
Quality Management:
Implement and maintain
SNI ISO/IEC 17020:2012
standards. Validate surveyor/inspector reports to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
Resource Management:
Ensure the availability, reliability, and maintenance of all operational equipment and consumables required for field assignments.
People Management & Development:
Manage the competency of surveyors, inspectors, and subordinates. Create training plans to ensure the team meets industry scope requirements.
Safety & QHSE Leadership:
Drive a "Safety First" culture. Monitor the use of PPE, lead daily briefings/huddles, and ensure all unsafe behaviors or conditions are reported and corrected.
Administrative & Licensing:
Prepare and manage company licensing activities to ensure smooth operational legality.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any major. (Preferred:
Engineering, MIPA, or Marine/Nautical studies with ANT/ATT-2
certificates).
Experience:
5–7 years total experience in the surveying industry (given this is a "Head" position).
Strong background in
Mineral Inspection
(Container Inspection) and
Marine Surveys
(On/Off Hire, Condition Surveys).
Certifications:
Having
AISI DRAFT & LIQUID
certification is a significant advantage.
In-depth knowledge of
ISO 17020
(Standard for Inspection Bodies).
Soft Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead a diverse team.
Work Location:
Must be willing to be based in
Halmahera, North Maluku .
