Job Description

As a Vendor Management Assistant Manager at PT Samsung SDS Global SCL Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising the company's vendor relationships. Based in South Jakarta, this full‑time position will see you contributing to the overall success of the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics operations through strategic vendor management and analysis.

What you will be doing

Overseeing the vendor onboarding and performance management processes

Conducting regular vendor evaluations and implementing improvement strategies

Negotiating contracts and service level agreements to ensure favourable terms

Analysing vendor data and generating insightful reports to drive decision‑making

Collaborating cross‑functionally to align vendor activities with business objectives

Identifying cost‑saving opportunities and implementing process efficiencies

Providing guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the team

What we’re looking for

Minimum 5 years’ experience in vendor management or a related field

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in data analysis

Excellent negotiation and communication abilities to liaise with vendors

Understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline

Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and cost optimisation

Familiarity with manufacturing or logistics industry regulations and compliance
